PREFACE

 

About a year ago, our little gang at Happy Trails RV Resort starting talking about RVing to Alaska again.  Mary, John & I had all lived up there for years, Steve had gone up a long time ago, Ed & Nancy had RV’d up in 2019, and Johnny O and Mary had never been.  We got a little more serious about the planning in the spring, ordered Mileposts and set some tentative dates.  Since everyone was going to be leaving from different locations (John & I from AZ, Steve & Mary from the Pacific NW, Ed & Nancy from MN and Johnny O & Mary from SD), we decided to meet in Dawson Creek BC, Canada on June 11.

Here’s where the story starts for John and me…
